With a current population of 1,071, the City of Goshen is classified as a second class city. The form of government is Mayor-Council. The Mayor is elected to a four-year term. The City Council consists of six Aldermen, representing three wards. The Aldermen are elected at large to serve two-year terms. The Recorder/Treasurer is elected to a four-year term.
